About the Trust

The Trust is an incorporated charity with its Trustees being also the Directors of the company of the same name, its structure is here. Full Membership is drawn firstly from Temple Grove alumni, the OTGs, but it welcomes new members from varied disciplines – including those with a professional or general interest in primary education. Its current work is concentrated on:

  • Investing in primary schools, particularly those carrying the Temple Grove name and values (always putting support for children and staff before buildings). Learn more about the Trust’s Projects.
  • Influencing the development of primary education across both sectors. Drawing on some 200 years of experience in primary education, the Trust is bringing the maintained and private sectors together, to participate in its projects and share resources, experience and vision.
  • Providing governance – delegating performance to professional staff and providing them with additional support. The Trust is providing Governors for its new Academies, whilst investing in teacher training and the provision of resources to support its projects.
  • Relieving hardship within its Schools and other projects. The Temple Grove Bursary Fund recently amalgamated with the Trust to work together in achieving this.

Temple Grove Schools Trust welcomes:

  • New Members to develop and implement its projects.
  • Partners to join in achieving shared aims.
  • Supporters who can assist the Trust to develop and expand its work in inspiring excellence in primary education.
